The FOOD The food at Vito’s is a perfect blend of Italian classics from the many regions that define the great country of Italy. Some dishes hail from Tuscany, others have origins in Bologna, and for the big zesty flavors our chef’s pay homage to the island of Sicily. Some of the house favorites are the rigatoni Bolognese, which is a slow cooked ground beef dish that simmers for 4 hours in heavy cream, mira poix and some tomatoes. Another house favorite is the veal saltimbocca, which is a veal cutlet pounded thin, scallopine style, topped then with fontina, sage, and prosciutto. This is finished with a Madeira wine sauce, homemade parmigiana potato gnocchi and broccoli rabe.

The AMBIANCE More than the food defines the ambiance at Vito’s Café, as many of our servers are trained singers who hail from the Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music and Northern Kentucky University. It would be an understatement to say that the singing servers add a touch of class: throughout the course of the meal, the singers rise to the occasion belting out Broadway show tunes, opera ballads and jazz standards. Our entire restaurant seats 160 persons, which can be distributed into 3 rooms: the Venetian room, Neapolitan room and Roman room. The Roman room which is designated as the ‘large party/private party’ room can seat 65 at capacity. This room is very often used for work Christmas parties, rehearsal dinners and surprise birthday parties.
