Shkodra
From Wikitravel
Shkodra is a city in Albania.
[edit] Get in
You can get there by bus; buses to Shkodra depart from Tirana in the morning, but usually there are buses that leave every hour. Buses with vacancies will gladly pick up travellers on the main highway between Tirana and Shkoder as well, but it is recommended to negotiate and pay before departure - Albanian minibus drivers have a tendency to renegotiate with foreigners after they are dropped off, to the foreigners' disadvantage. Minibuses are starting from Ulqin/Ulcinj for 5 Euro. From Podgorica, take public buses to Tuzi, then hire a Montenegran cab either to the border or to Shkoder. Minibuses from Hani i Hotit (the Montenegro Border) run around 200 Lek (2 Euro).
